CREATIVE RIGHTS, WITHOUT THE SMALL PRINT
Overview
When you purchase an illustration or pack from Offgrid, you’re buying a license to use the artwork — not ownership of it.
This license grants you broad usage rights while protecting the original intellectual property created by Offgrid.
What you can do
Your license allows you to:
- Use the illustrations in unlimited personal or commercial projects.
- Use them across any medium — web, print, packaging, merchandise, video, or social media.
- Modify, recolor, crop, or adapt the illustrations as needed for your designs.
- Embed illustrations within client work, marketing materials, or brand assets.
- Include the illustrations in projects you sell to clients, as long as the editable source files are not shared.
You can use Offgrid illustrations freely for yourself or for client projects, without worrying about impression or project limits.
What you cannot do
You are not permitted to:
- Resell, redistribute, or share the original files (AI, SVG, PNG, PDF, Figma, etc.).
- Upload or resell Offgrid illustrations on marketplaces or stock platforms (Creative Market, Envato, Freepik, etc.).
- Include Offgrid illustrations in products or templates where the main value is the illustration itself.
- Use Offgrid assets in NFTs, AI training datasets, or machine learning systems.
- Claim copyright or authorship over any Offgrid illustration.
- Transfer or share files with teammates or third parties who haven’t purchased their own license.
Each license covers one individual user only.
Usage rights
- You may use Offgrid illustrations in unlimited end products and projects.
- There are no limits on impressions, reach, or distribution.
- Files may be used for yourself or a client, provided the editable source files are not shared.
- For teams or organizations with multiple users, a separate license is required per user.
- Clients receiving your design work do not need a separate license if they only receive final, flattened deliverables.
License upgrades
You can upgrade your license at any time. Supported upgrades are:
- Standard → Premium
- Premium → Lifetime
- Standard → Lifetime
When upgrading, the remaining value of your current license is applied as a credit and deducted from the upgrade price. Downgrades are not supported. Contact us if you want to upgrade your plan.
Intellectual Property
All Offgrid illustrations, characters, and design assets are protected by copyright and international intellectual property laws.
Offgrid remains the sole owner of all illustrations and derivative works.
Purchasing a license gives you usage rights, not ownership.
You may modify the artwork for your projects, but you may not:
- Register any Offgrid illustration or derivative as your own intellectual property.
- Use Offgrid designs in a way that implies endorsement or partnership by Offgrid.
Limited Warranty
Offgrid guarantees that:
- All illustrations are original works created by the Offgrid team.
- They do not knowingly infringe on any third-party rights.
- Files are tested and provided in professional formats (AI, EPS).
However:
- Files are provided “as is”, without any warranties, express or implied.
- Offgrid is not liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from the use or inability to use the files.
- Offgrid’s total liability will never exceed the price paid for the license.
By downloading or using Offgrid illustrations, you agree that you are responsible for ensuring lawful and appropriate use within your projects.
Refunds
Refunds are available only if no files have been downloaded.
Once any file has been accessed or downloaded, the purchase is considered final.
Offgrid keeps secure records of each download (including date, IP address, and location) to verify access and prevent abuse. Read more
Attribution
Attribution is not required, but appreciated. If you wish to credit:
“Illustrations by Offgrid – offgrid.supply”
Termination
Offgrid reserves the right to revoke this license if:
- The files are resold, redistributed, or used in violation of these terms.
- Fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity is detected.
In such cases, Offgrid may terminate access without refund.
Summary
This license is designed to give you creative freedom while protecting the integrity of the artwork.
Use Offgrid illustrations in as many projects as you like — modify, experiment, and build your ideas.
The only restriction: don’t resell or redistribute the source files.
